At Beehive Counseling, our Graduate Level Social Work Interns offer low-cost counseling to our community.

Our mission at Beehive Counseling is to remove barriers to care, including financial and scheduling obstacles. You may choose this option for counseling if you have no mental health coverage, cannot afford the insurance deductibles/co-pays or don’t wish to use your insurance for privacy reasons.

Our Interns are available after 5pm and on weekends. They work with children, adolescents and adult individuals, as well as providing group counseling. Their focus and passion is working with people who are exploring and embracing their authenticity. You will find that our Interns bring fresh energy and creativity to their work in assisting clients.

Our Interns are enrolled in a local university and are in their final years of their graduate counseling programs. Social Work Interns are always under the supervision of a Beehive Clinical Supervisor, as well as professors at their university.

I am a second-year Masters student and Beehive Social Work intern, currently studying at Springfield College. As a social work intern, I enjoy my work with children, adolescents, and young adults, and I am committed to elevating the voices of the marginalized. I look forward to fostering a safe space for you or your child to grow and heal. I graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2017 with a liberal arts degree with a concentration in child development and trauma studies. My experience in health and social services ranges from organizations and schools to residential and inpatient settings, supporting older adults, children, adolescents, and folks living with disabilities. I'm consistently inspired by the young people I meet, and strive to provide holistic, strengths-based, and person-centered support in the work I do. I'm passionate about social welfare policy, research, and advocacy, particularly for the LGBTQ community.

I am currently a graduate student at Springfield College pursuing my Master's in Social Work. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut in 2016. My long-term career goals include becoming a leader in the human services field. My goal as a social worker is to give hope to the hopeless, and to provide support to individuals that are in constant battles with their mental health. As a professional, understanding that all individuals come from different backgrounds, values and norms is very important and should be put into practice on a daily basis.  I would be honored to work with you.
