Dear Journal:
Ugh, I'm really struggling rn. I felt anxious and didn't want to go to work again today, and I'm super sad that I feel that way - when did I stop liking my job? I love the patients but the drama at work is so ridiculous. I don't know if I even want to go to vet school anymore, and that scares the shit out of me. On top of everything I need to figure out who I really am - I feel like I might be poly - and I’m so scared to tell my partner. I think I need helping sorting all of this out, maybe I need to go to therapy?? People say it helps, so why not?

It can be hard to reach out for help, and I commend and honor you for exactly where you are right now!

I believe that therapy can help you “ride the wave" with hope, courage, and purpose. I believe in the power of relationships, and I believe therapists should be just as authentic as they ask of their clients. My commitment to you is to bring my whole self into our time together, just as I ask of you. I will encourage you to trust your gut, trust the process, and trust yourself in what you need. I firmly believe that therapy, like self-care, is not “one size fits all."

I work with clients who may be struggling with trauma, including animal health workers, pet families, domestic violence survivors, and the LGBTQIA2S community.

My Approach:

Wherever you are in this moment, I'll meet you there! I am trauma-informed, and love helping folks understand and support their bodymind. I specialize in working with veterinary professionals, pet parents/families, the LGBTQIA2S+ community, domestic violence survivors, and those in addiction recovery. I lean towards a warm, compassionate, gentle style.

During our sessions, we will go at your pace to delve into the issues that most concern you. We will collaborate to create a plan that helps you live your truth, and many of my clients experience greater calm and purpose.

Does insurance cover the cost of therapy sessions?

At this time, I accept Anthem BCBS, Husky/Medicaid, Cigna and Aetna.
