What brings many people to my practice:

“Another Sunday arrives, and I find myself wondering where the time has gone—where Friday nights disappeared to, where the past several months have gone, and how I ended up feeling so disconnected from my own life. There are moments when I feel overwhelmed by anxiety, uncertainty, and the state of the world around me. At times, it can feel paralyzing, leaving me questioning what is truly within my control and what is not. I want deeper connection—with myself, with others, and with a greater sense of purpose—but I often feel stuck between intention and action. I know there is value and strength within me, yet it can feel distant and difficult to access. I make promises to myself about change, growth, and movement forward, but too often I remain frozen in place, unsure where to begin. I’ve reached a point where I recognize that continuing in the same patterns is no longer sustainable, and I believe it may be time to seek support and guidance in creating meaningful change.”

If those words resonate with you, first and foremost, I want you to know that you do not have to navigate that experience alone. Reaching out for therapy can be one of the most difficult and courageous first steps a person takes, and the willingness to pursue change—even while feeling uncertain—is meaningful. I believe growth often begins not with having everything figured out, but with being willing to take small, intentional steps forward.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a United States Air Force veteran with six years of active-duty service. My clinical experience includes working with young adults, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, identity development, emotional overwhelm, and challenges related to purpose, motivation, and connection. My time in military service deeply shaped my understanding of resilience, discipline, stress, and the complexities of reintegrating personal meaning and direction during different stages of life.

The therapeutic relationship is central to the work that we do together. I strive to create a grounded, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly, explore honestly, and feel respected as your authentic self. Therapy is your space, and I welcome feedback throughout the process. If something does not feel helpful, if I misunderstand you, or if you need a different approach, I encourage open dialogue so that our work remains centered on your needs and goals.

My Approach:

My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and holistic. I believe meaningful change comes through both insight and action. Together, we can explore the patterns, beliefs, fears, and barriers that may be keeping you stuck while also identifying practical ways to build momentum through behavioral activation and intentional daily choices. Often, healing begins with small but consistent actions that reconnect us to purpose, structure, relationships, and self-worth. My goal is to help you move from feeling frozen toward feeling engaged in your life again, one step at a time.

I also value the role spirituality and faith can play in the healing process. For many people, spiritual beliefs, religious traditions, and faith-based values provide strength, grounding, meaning, and hope during difficult seasons of life. I welcome conversations about spirituality, faith, and cultural identity as part of therapy when they are important to you, and I believe these aspects of self can become valuable resources for resilience, healing, and personal growth.

I view therapy as a collaborative and evolving process rather than a rigid formula. My role is not to tell you who you should be, but to help you reconnect with who you already are beneath the fear, exhaustion, self-doubt, and disconnection. You are worthy of support, growth, and healing, and I am glad you are here.
