My role at Beehive:

Hi there! I’m likely the first person you’ll interact with at Beehive Counseling. I’ll do my best to match you with a therapist based on what you’re seeking in therapy. I’m here to make that connection and trained to understand client’s specific needs. I’ll dedicate myself to make sure your experience at Beehive meets your expectations!

Outside of Beehive, I enjoy art, traveling and cooking healthy meals. Please reach out to me if you need assistance with intake forms!

As a gay man that has been out to family and friends since adolescence, I consider myself an ally to our community and enjoy helping people that are looking for gender, sexual orientation and trans affirming care.

The intake process at Beehive

  1. Click the link above to check out our availability and to fill out our form. If our therapists have openings, we will give you a call, go over options and discuss next steps. We will ask some questions about your symptoms and struggles, and talk about insurance and finances. Finally, we’ll schedule your first appointment with a therapist at Beehive.

  2. You’ll then be sent a link to our client portal, where there are some forms for you to complete, as well as a confidential questionnaire that will be shared with your therapist. The link expires in 24 hours, so please make sure to log in! All paperwork must be complete at least 24 hours after being sent to confirm and secure your appointment; otherwise, we’ll need to reschedule. Contact Andrew if you need assistance!

  3. Our Practice Manager/Biller Josh will check your benefits and reach out separately with a welcome email, letting you know what your cost share will be so you’re fully informed before you meet with your therapist. Please contact Josh with any billing- or insurance-related questions.

  4. You’ll attend your first session, and then you and your therapist will take it from there!
